Hello my name is Kayla Popken, I am a self-taught special FX Makeup Artist. I mainly specialize in trauma and theatrical makeup. I plan on attending Cinema Secrets Makeup School, In Los Angles, California. I’ve been practicing special FX for almost two years now and have had the pleasure of meeting Makeup legend, Michael Westmore and other amazing makeup artists along the way. I’ve worked on projects such as The Every 15 minutes program and New Halls Annual Heritage Haunt. I’m proud to say I’ve accomplished a lot over these past years and have grown to understand the concept of special FX and other types of makeup.
